My Dad phoned me on Thursday to tell me he was ill. I phoned his doctor who visited him at home 2 hours later. Within the next hour my Dad was taken by ambulance to Crumpsall hossy where he was straight into bed and hooked up to machinery. Another doctor saw him an hour later and they kept him overnight. After several tests and scans they decided he needs surgery. The doctors have phoned me at home, the ward nurse has as well, to keep us informed of the situation. I've been down this morning...
