Just wondering how common this is out there because among people I know in the real world it seems shockingly common or at least more common than it was decades ago.
Me and my parents haven't spoken to my brother for 4 years [long story but basically money is at the root of it] and it's quite likely they will depart this plane without seeing him again. They don't seem that bothered 'cos he has turned into quite a nasty piece of work.
